DHS Hurricane 3-50 - 37 Degrees

Select color/thickness:

4.5/5

Hurricane 3-50 combines the classic tacky surface of Hurricane 3 with a high-elasticity 50# sponge, delivering a refined touch, easy power generation, and stable offensive performance. It retains Hurricane 3’s excellent grip, enabling players to create heavy spin and low, penetrating arcs through precise brushing, especially in mid-to-long distance rallies. The 50# sponge provides enhanced elasticity, allowing even compact strokes and wrist acceleration to produce strong spin and speed. Designed for a modern spin-and-impact playing style, Hurricane 3-50 offers the perfect balance between friction-based spin generation and powerful direct hitting.

Speed: 86
Spin: 92

Reviews of DHS Hurricane 3-50 - 37 Degrees (23)

Hello guys. I bought an original (not ali ) and i paired it with all my blades (ALL +, OFF-, OFF, and OFF+) to test it. What i realised is the faster blade i pair it with the better performance i got: Spin & speed. It is an easy to use rubber with killer serve & spin potential with 10/ 10 control. I love especially when i need to grab the ball or i need to finish the point hitting the white line of the table. Needless to say close to the table, receiving serves and in defending situations this rubber performs like high -end rubbers. Downside: Pair with slower blades it lacks of speed. Pair with lighter blades: lacks in stability. My overall: 9.6 /10 but only if paired with non - lightened offensive blades.

Best on BH of a Carbon Blade. Hardness of the top sheet combine with soft sponge makes an excellent rubber. The Tackiness is well known from Hurricane 3 line. Pair it with Hurricane 3 Neo for FH and experience one the best of budget rubber there is.

Excellent rubber (h37)for bh and fh on stiff or hard veneer wood. It deserves a much better rating than this one, 8.7.
It doesn't go well with soft wood blade because it's too soft, but if it's rubber on right blade the combination is great.

Not much to add to AndySmith's review, 9 years after it's still perfect.
Even if more "Chinese-top-sheet-on-medium-soft-sponge" options, as well as "hybrids", have been released since then, the H3-50 is still the reference and probably the best way to enter the world of Chinese (sticky) rubbers (even if Victas VJC>07 Sticky Extra is a serious contender).
Fantastic qpr!
