Andro Rasanter R45
Your game is spin and speed. Variability and safeness embody your topspins. Break with conventions, use the strengths of the ENERGY CELL technology: more power and quality in your strokes, high dynamics – longer ball contact feel. The ENERGY CELL sponge with its highly elastic cell structure ensures an extremely dynamic energy transfer to all topspin variations. The 45 ° medium sponge supports both active and passive strokes in the best possible way. The perfect balance of spin, speed, and control is the basis for variable offensive table tennis. I played with it in 2.3 thickness on a penhold blade with long pimples on the other side, so I used this rubber for both backhand and forehand. It's a great offensive rubber. It has very high friction, a very elastic topsheet, and good sponge. If you're considering a rubber for the RPB penhold, I recommend this one in the maximum sponge thickness. You can spin any ball with it with just your wrist; you can really feel the rubber wrapping around the ball. On the forehand, you need to loop at 60-70% of your power, otherwise the rubber bottoms out (considering the hardness, this is expected). I didn't like the short game; the ball feels poorly, but that's most likely a problem with the 2.3 thickness. Overall, it's a great backhand rubber.
It seems to me the sponge's thickness is much lower than 45 => 40-43. Rasanter R45 is an allpurpose rubber, suitable for intermediate players that would like to smoothly upgrade their rubber to an higher level. I think this rubber could benefit from being used on backhand while the R47 version would be suitable on the forhand's side. good points : Very high dwell time, not too heavy. bad points : not very spinny, low durability.
This a rubber designed for topspin. It supports these with a lively sponge and a strong catapult. The rubber wants to be played actively and offensively, It tends to behave erratically when going under the ball. On the other hand it allows to play solid balls even under pressure and when only reacting, as long as you go for the upper half of the Ball. If you are physically strong or want to exert force yourself, there are much better rubbers. If you are looking for support for an active topspin game this may be the right choice for you.
Very good rubber, I use it on my forehand and backhand in max thickness, spin is almost equal to tenergy with slightly lesser speed, way more control than tenergy. Durability is very bad though which is the only downside, I play 4 times a week and the rubber wears out in 6 to 8 weeks
Best backhand rubber, for intermediate player
