Twiddling: If my opponent is a strong looper with good tacky rubbers, I'll try and throw him off by twiddling every 3rd shot or so....let him get into a rhythem, then spoil it for him....it forces them to think differently about their next loop, which helps force mistakes. If the opponent is not very good, and using a house bat or something, I dont bother twiddling, their rubbers arent tacky, so I dont think the spin change makes that much of a differnce to their shots, and they are bound to make more mistakes anyway... On the bh I rarely twiddle...I find it hard enough as it is! |
