| More than likely the Original (and I am certain the Dr. N is pips are) coated with epoxy resin. They roll it on a glass flat, lay the sheet pips down into it. Then pick it up! If the epoxy layer thickness and viscosity is right, the epoxy ends up as a nice shallow dome on the top of each pip that hardens into a very small hard contact patch. |
