| The end of the table has 2 tilted gutters that direct balls to a motorized compartment that has open spaces on each side for balls to feed into. A spinning wheel, like a paddlewheel, scoops the balls up, moving them vertically into a tube. This part of the robot would have been the most difficult to build from scratch, so that's why the $75 slammer seems like just the ticket to get things started. Good luck! When mine is completed, I'll try to figure as way of posting a picture or something! |
