Thanks guys for the comments and encouragement, I really needed it, for I felt like "retiring" ping pong :) Butterfly sounds like a good brand, but I feel reluctant to yet again choose a fast rubber. Everything spans out with little curving with my current Yassaka.
About the older balls, I did try them (before the newer racket) and haven't done any better! I was thinking of the Donic for its supposedly high grip (useful for loops). Does the silver Butterfly have a high grip?
