Blocking heavy topspin on the backhand (3)

I do traditional blocks. So do you think I should block and put some of my own spin onto the ball? I've tried punch blocking the oncoming ball but it just goes off the table, I've analysed the way shakeholders block and I've tried to imitate their action into the penhold style but the position of the forearm/elbow/wrist is just too awkward to be effective(probably give me a injury doing it). What else could I try Cole? This flaw in my game has effected me so much that I've even considered switching to shakehold just to solve the problem. |
