Not a chance - not even close. The speed the ball leaves the blade is governed by the Coeffecient of Restitution COR of the ball/blade combo. Sponge rubber blades will have much higher CORs. I'm not a big-time hardbat user, but, in my experience, my smashes are WAY slower when I used hardbat, or even a thinner sponge... |
