Ok, so I'm a beginner who's played with crappy 3$ paddles (well not entirely, but I don't own my own paddle...) for about 6 months now, and I obviously want to upgrade, as I play seriously about 4 hours a week. I'm a shakehander and my game mostly consists of heavy midrange (something like 3-4 ft from the table) forehand looping with a decent short game, heavy use of flips and pushes on the backhand side and I'm interested in developing a backhand loop later on. I'm not a huge fan of smashing, I only use it to change things up or when it's obvious. More of a power looper.

The problem for me is that I can only spend up to 40$ or below, which doesn't offer too much in choices, and really doesn't allow me to build my own. Do you guys have any recommendations? Thanks in advance.
