Played in max thickness on Xiom Zetro Quad and Septear on forehand. Didnt really like it on backhand personally as too low throw for me to backhand loop with confidence. Would be good if you were just looking to push safe, block passive and punchblock on backhand. Really matches well with soft blades hinoki top in particular. Most similar feeling to speed glued Bryce I have found. Though similarly with speed glued Bryce I found this lower throw rubber forced me to play one way: get into topspin ASAP, offensive and fast until the point ends. This is where the rubber shines though I prefer newer generation rubbers where topsheet grabs the ball more and allows a more varied and imo more enjoyable table tennis experience. For comparison purposes which may be helpful for others: lighter weight, a touch slower, less spin at low-med speed/serves, lower throw than Rasant Powergrip 2.1.
This is faster, more spinnier, more click feeling, catapult, similar throw to than Palio AK47 Max. As AK47 Red is slower and noticeably lighter this may give the impression it is higher throw vs Omega IV Pro though only as you can brush and hit harder with AK47 Red.

A relatively firm and grippy topsheet combines with a firm sponge (47.5 ESN hardness) to give high spin and speed potential. Paired on a Petr Korbel blade, it gives consistent results on flicks, pushes, smashes, loops and hits. Lifting backspin is effective. The ball does not slip off the rubber even in humid weather and when loop driving with a very closed racket face. Offensive shots, properly executed, will simply skid and shoot off the opponent's side!
May not be helpful to beginners because sound stroke mechanics are required. One needs to hit into the rubber for best results. For the improving player, this rubber gives clear feedback in feel and sound.
Compared to Xiom Vega Pro, the chief difference is Vega Pro has a supple topsheet, even though both Vega Pro and Omega lV Pro have the same published sponge hardness. With Vega Pro, the feel is like the ball 'plays' on the rubber for a moment before shooting out. With the Omega lV Pro, the feel is more immediate.
The rubber is priced approximately 25% cheaper than the latest tensors. My rubber had to be replaced after about 90 hours.
Though this rubber has been around for 10 years, it is still an excellent attacking rubber for intermediate players.

Great rubber for offensive game. I found it to be little better than MX-P. It took me no time to get used to it. It doesn't lose the spin even when you hit topspin with full speed. Generates lot of spin during Serves too. Highly recommended!

I have Omega IV Pro on Adidas Challenge Speed& Xiom Zetro Quad. C-Pen blades..Reluctant to use T05 because of playing style &personal preference.I have and like T80very much glued on harder blades.Omega IV Pro is an excellent offensive rubber, spinny ,speedy and with great control in blocks.IMO Xiom is great company with exciting new products(great R&D).sometime they introduce their products too fast paced.

I don't really like this rubber on my BH (Tibhar SPW blade), i think its just too hard sponge for me. Maybe on FH it would be much better. It's fast and hard, lacking nice feeling. It can produce nice spin but it requires very good technique imo.

good rubber but kinda lack of spin compare to tenergy series..for spin tenery>xiom
but for control n block I prefer this rubber.
the speed n bounce/loop kinda like T64 but the throw angle a bit lower
Overall I prefer this rubber cause it's easier to block

A perfect rubber for topspin and aggressive play. I just love it

Hard rubber. It's great in speed and blocking rebound in a straight line, but I did not like it's serve.

This is a very fast rubber which can produce heavy spin when needed. The greatest strength of this rubber is that it can produce consistently powerful topsins with a strong forehand stroke, however the forehand stroke is best when combined with a powerful turning motion of the body. This makes a very good forehand rubber and lasts very long so no need to replace it for many months. I have had a sheet for six months and train for tournaments about 10 hours a week and the sheet still plays like new

I've used Tenergy 05, 05fx, 64, 64fx and long been a fan of Butterfly from the early1980's. Today i became no longer a fan of Butterfly. Xiom Omega IV Pro is awesome. My top spin loaded looping and driving opened a new era and dimension where almost nobody can receive my ball. Highly highly recommended. You'll know what i mean if you use it.

hard to control. Awesome spin

Very nice rubber. Lacks some spin but all other attributes is Humble Pie.

You can put this rubber on your FH or BH. An "easy to use" rubber, but to achieve the full potentials of this rubber, you need to have a good swing stroke.
It has good control, dynamic linearity & lenient for all type of players. To create a decent heavy loop or top spin, ball should deep enough on the top sheet & penetrate adequately to interact with its black carbo sponge. In short, proper dwell of the ball on this rubber should be accomplished for you to create a pretty good spin.
Perfect for stiff hard blades.

An amazing rubber with incredible speed.I recently bought a tenergy 05 and compared it with this.I found that this is a little bit more faster with more spin than the t05.

I used this as my FH rubber for last 3 years, very good spin, speed, low throw, loops dip after hitting other side if table. I didn't think I would find better but have recently switched to Omega V Tour, which whilst not having the same destructive power as IV Pro, has more gears and more control. IV Pro is a very good rubber and suited for aggressive attack

I am around 1500 rating and use this rubber in 2.0 on FH on a Xiom Aria blade (5-ply wood). Coming from Vega Pro, Omega IV Pro has a noticeably harder sponge and faster speed. When flat hitting, you get a satisfying crack of the sponge and when looping a nice click.

Flat hits, smashes and blocks: This rubber performs really well here. Blocks borrow all of the speed and spin of opponent's shot, and propel the ball back on the table. Smashes and drives are fun and satisfying.

Push: The fast speed and hard sponge make service return harder to control, but the pushes are spinny and fast. After some adjustment I could drop them short over the net too. Requires a lot of finesse for the short game.

Loop: Like Vega Pro, this rubber really grabs the ball and imparts tremendous spin. The sponge adds a lot more speed than Vega Pro. The result is lethal loops, but if you make sub-optimal contact you'll be punished.

Update: This rubber is incredibly powerful, but just too fast for me to manage. I went back to Vega Pro and am much more confident now.

Excellent FH rubber for attacking style!

Effortless looping. Low serves. Incredible speed. Very nice rubber from Xiom! (Makes a good FH rubber, but would probably pair better as a backhand to Sigma Europe)

It is fantastic rubber. Very spinny good speed. Much better in feeling and last longer than any Tenergy serise.

But I have a problem. This rubber bulges up a little bit around edge of blade 2-3 days after gluing. I tried different blade and different glue on this rubber, but the same result.

I don't know it is only this rubber's problem or not. My friend has Omega Asia and does not have this problem

Is there anyone who has same problem?

This is my FH rubber on DHS Power-G PG7. I was debating between this and tenergy 05 and I'm glad I went with this one. I find this rubber very similar to tenergy 05 and half the cost. But i can say this is definitely more speed and spin than a sriver g2 fx and cheaper.

One of the best rubbers I have used! Nice speed, spin, control and sponge hardness. Suits all types of playing (close-mid-far). I use one on my BH on a Hinoki Shake Swift Blade (medium) 5 - ply hinoki.

Too fast for me. Sold it after 2 sessions of practice!

I think the sponge is quite good, and the top surface may create some spin, however,it cannot replace tenergy05

If you are interested in this rubber, you may also try the LKT black power,it is similar with this.

The best rubber for me as a J Pen player. Using it right now. No complaint at all. Love it.

I used this on my FH and with Schager Carbon blade ,, Better spin than tenergy 05 Fx,
, Acuda S1, Boost TX... Excellent for Mid and Closed to the table, medium throw angle ,suggested to hard blade,
Not as good as Acuda S1 for speed, and Smash. If u wanna use for short period ( 4 month ) , try this one.,,,low price
than tenergy ( Best rubber to subtitute tenergy )

Would this rubber be a good match with a joola carbon blade like joola mc1 pr Joola wing passion extreme? quick reply, please! thanx!

good speed
very good spin
excellent drive
excellent in mid table game
very good block and push
but not suitable for me due to the bouncy if play near the net. May be because of my technique.

Great rubber in terms of spin/speed. Control is also good when close-to-table game but is decreased (a little) in mid distances

Before I bought this rubber, I who always use soft rubbers thought I couldn't play with this rubber because it would be too hard for me. However, after I tried this rubber, all I can say is it is not hard at all. Unlike Chinese rubber, I can press my finger on the rubber so easily. The topsheet is very soft, but the sponge is a bit harder. It gives me a very great feel on loops, drives, blocks, serves. Very very fast. Probably the fastest rubber I ever play with. More speed and spin than Vega pro.

This is an awesome rubber. If you hit a the ball with hard top spin it will produce a super fast low throw angle ball to your opponent side. This rubber compliment my T05.

I play both pengrip and shakehand style. I hadn't played for 36 years and started playing again 18 months ago.
I have tried to find a chinese rubber that would give me that wow factor, with spin, speed and control. The closest I have come was g999 and yinhe moon pro. I started dabbling with hammond beta pro, and xiom omega iv pro. Both of these rubbers produce the vicious sides spin I used to have. Omega iv pro has a wicked kick and contrary to some other people's experience, It is Mark V rubber defined and refined, a perfect attack and defense table tennis weapon that instills you with confidence. It virtually talks to the ball as you make your shot and leaves your opponent in no doubt as to what it is saying. It is brilliant against bottom spin and you can easily loop from under the table to get that sidespin I was talking about. For pengrippers it should be a dream. Unlike Tenergy 05 which I tried for many months, it is forgiving and can be very hurtful against said Tenergy opponents. I used to fear them. Now that I can produce the same spin but with more power and dire!
ction, fear can take a holiday.
Personally, I think the feel, and incredible control matched with the spin and speed make it a nightmare for opponents and a winner for the wielder. Get some and get some payback.

Is Xiom Zetro Quad + Xiom Omega 4Pro+ Xiom Omega4 Asian a good combination?
Review helpful?    Yes | No

This is an awesome rubber! Loops are spinny and really kicks off the table. It has sufficient power but it also provides enough control. A good substitute fot Tenergy 05.

Changed from Bryce to this, same speed, more spin, alot more control and consistancy, better feel, way more durable, and alot more clicking. This rubber's potential is very high and it should be just as popular as tenergy. xiom has been on the international market for only five years. but if you r an attacker of any sort then this rubber can really get u somewhere.

I changed to this rubber to subsitute the too expensive Tenergy 05 and I am really surprised. Now I cannot change to another rubber. Very good control, spin and speed enough.
Review helpful?    Yes | No

This is a very fast rubber with very good control. I would prefer this rubber to Tenergy 25 as I play close to the table. Blocks and push blocks over the table are excellent. Serving is allow excellent especially doing disguise pendulum serves. A very good rubber for the offensive player.
I find it not that suitable for chops.

I've got Xiom Omega IV Pro 2.0mm on each side of a Xiom Zetro Quad blade. Very good control in the short game. Serves are spinny enough (reference - Vega Pro and Tenergy 05). Brush looping is a breeze, powerloops are amazing. Lots of dwell time. Blocking and smashing is okay (Vega Pro is better).

Much lighter than Yasaka Rakza 7. About the same weight and hardness as Xiom Vega Pro.

Best rubber for me. Played with Omega for a while then gave tenegry 05 a try but returned to Omega PRO. Much more controll, more spin and slightly less speed than tenergy makes this rubber idal for consistent attacking play. Use it on stradivarius blade and think it is a best match possible. Amazing feedback with sufficient speed and spin. Moreover Omega is lighter than tenergy.

Owesome spin and control, very good speed, very durable topsheet, low throw angle. Good substitute for Tenergy.

Quite a hard top sheet. Consistency is great with good control and good speed. Spin is good, good window effect. Cheaper than tenergy, suitable as a substitute for tenergy. I paid sgd 55 for this. Will not change. :)

One of the best rubbers for attacking play. Very hard spin and good speed, makes many troubles for opponent. Good combination with XIOM Ignito and BUTTERFLY Timo Boll Spirit and M.Maze.

More spin and speed then Vega Pro. Very durable topsheet, semilar to T64 but more elastic. Throw angel ist lower then T05 and T64.
