I have some old well-kept 2012-2017 pair of DHS Hurricane 3. They're almost brand new. They have an extreme amount of quality and durability. Idk about the Tackyness If it goes away quickly but what i can Say is that i have not ever seen such a medium hard sponge and rubber. Its not soft so the ball doesnt sink in but its so gluey the ball sits on the rubber! It's just insane how good this rubber is. Sadly on my BH i have a blue sponge whereas the FH is Orange. The Orange is good its more forgiving but the blue one If You wanna hit banana flick IT doesn't go perfect You need to find the way the rubber wants to be hit. Its Sad cuz this is almost the perfect rubber. IT doesnt have much Speed but its light for the amount of good things You get. And literally If i drag the ball alongside the paddle its almost Impossible to make it Fall. Thats how gluey this rubber is. However, all that come with a massive cost: the blue rubber version vibrates a lot, while the Orange one vibrates less. Also, BEWARE of dust! Even a speck of dust is so hard of getting rid of. It doesnt stick instantaineously, but If it does, it's extremely hard to get it off. So yeah If It wasn't for this drawback, it would have been the best rubber.

Its a nice rubber if you have a very good technique and train everyday, otherwise it could be like hell if you buy it, i experienced that and if you buy this rubber you WILL have problems, it has low throw angle, hard rubber, no tensor only your raw power, it is really not good for a beginner, after 1.5 years of using the same rubber i decided to buy fastarc g1 2.0mm on backhand, on forehand xiom vega x MAX, it really upgraded me and it felt that hurricane limited me by a lot. i had a lot of problems with consistency, backhand topspins and others, it taught me a lot because it NEEDS technique AND raw power to be a good rubber for you, i learned the hard way, do NOT buy this unless you know what you are doing, if you want to experience hell to improve your technique, timing and power control buy, but again only if you know what you are doing. Overall when i played with this rubber it generated tons of spin when you hit with the best technique, speed is something you generate, not get from this rubber because it does not help at all like other tensor rubbers, but i mean its very nice in short game and chops

Switching to the DHS Hurricane 3 (2.2mm, 41) has significantly elevated my game. Compared to my previous Butterfly TBC 302, this rubber offers superior speed and spin, which is immediately noticeable in my topspin shots. Generating heavy topspin has become much easier and more consistent, especially during offensive rallies.

One of the highlights for me is the improved ability to create spinnier serves. The tackiness of the rubber gives me better control over the ball, allowing for more deceptive and effective serves that often catch my opponents off guard.

However, the weight of the rubber is something to consider. It feels heavier than what Im used to, which took some time to adjust to, but the performance gains have been worth it.

Overall, DHS Hurricane 3 is a fantastic choice for players looking to enhance their spin and control, especially for those focusing on a spin-dominant game style. Just be prepared for the added weight!

Medium speed, weak fuse, good control, tires starting to get sticky. Toughness will disappear quickly. Performance: It is a rubber that can be played consistently.

I think it's one of the best rubbers for men now plus you can start from not expensive version and improve your equipment parallel with improving your technique. It of course requires work - after H3 other rubbers like e.g. DNA Platinum will be so easy to play... =)
Probably it's comparable to Mark V XS, but of course way better for 40+ plastic ball. Difficult to glue it well.

I love this FH rubber as this allows me to loop and loop kill.Its tacky( sticky) so its great for learning to loop.
Its linear and low throw angle and good for looping.

After starting initially using Medium hardness for 9 months or so, I decided to upgrade to Hard hardness . Testing for 1 session proves its more power to my loops. BH and FH :all use hurrican3 rubber

Blade : butterfly hinoki Jonyer 5ply
Whatever blade I try I put on DHS3 on FH and BH. I had tried : Stiga CLipper, Yinhe V14 pro, Andro Timber 7 OFF/S
This is the way to trial and error the best blade given the same rubber
