Here my review of this blade
I’m no pro but my grandma gets those hands all the time by me in our basement.
I was running my Stiga vps before so was recommended to try this blade out, so I had some money saved away from the wife in my sock and said F* it why not. The price point was not bad $100 msrp from the guy selling it from his trunk. I paired it with some hurricane 3 provisional blue sponge (FH) and MX-P (BH).
Not soon after I was done putting this blade together a ray of light opened and a angels voice asked me to step in it, I walked and When my eyes adjust to the light I was standing before Zeus himself! He said that this is a lighting bolt of a blade and I have been chosen to wield it. So after our orgy on Mt Olympus I was returned back to my world.
I then got in my car and hit up my local club, now feeling like a god I stepped into the gym ready to do battle with these Titians that wielded pin handles and for some strange reason we’re all over 50yrs old but anyways they’re experience showed. These Titian’s cursed Zeus himself as I smashed and backhand there cuts and push’s, I crossed court shot them and made them run home to apply tiger balm.
Overall the blade is great, recommended for more experience players, the power is amazing and it’s definitely a fun blade.
After a few hrs at the club I did leave so I don’t get Chris Rocked.

This is my third blade. The specified weight was 88g. I asked for 86g but Butterfly sent me 90g.
The angular FL grip was originally larger than my liking, but I sand it to a very comfortable size. This is my favorite grip of all.
It took a while to get used to the speed especially with fast rubber like Friendship Aurora/the combo was too soft and springy especially due to the blade's very soft top layer+the softness of Aurora. You can easily mark the blade's surface with your finger nail. Then I decided to switch it to Hurrican III FH & Yasaka Mark V on BH. This is a very good combination. With the grippy H3 rubber, the blade is somewhat loopable and the Mark V on the back hand is good. I like to hit hard and this blade has very good control when you hit hard; it's rock solid, fast, & also very consistent. You need to face down the blade more due to it's very fast speed. The shots are fast and deep. The blade is pretty stiff when you smash the ball, it hardly flexes, but on the other hand you have a very soft surface and you get a pretty nice, soft feel without much vibration when hitting the ball; very unlike the ratings here. Very good combination of stiff structure + soft contact feel. I prefer to use harder & grippy rubbers on this blade for FH & med on BH.
Update 6/1/15: I took the Vega Pro 2.0 from Stratus Powerwood and put on this blade FH and boy what a difference did that make. Vega Pro used to be kind of slow & high throw on Powerwood but is now a looping monster and lethal weapon with Primorac Carbon! Loops are extremely fast, low & curvy. Vega Pro is a hard rubber and felt a bit too hard on the limba surface of the Powerwood but seems pretty ideal & rock solid on P/C. When I whip the balls with top/side spin my opponents had a hard time returning my bullet fast looping shots. It is very fun & it kicks butts. With the right rubber & my improved technique the Primorac is now truly a formidable weapon for me.

Despite being a little hard, and having high speed, It also has some decent control, because of it's outer hinoki layers. Average dwell time, medium throw angle, It is good for hitting, placing the ball with velocity. Pair It with good spinny rubbers, train your movements, and you'll have a great racket.
I find this blade to be very ergonomic, it really fits the average size hand well, easy to maintain your grip for hours without chiseling into the side of your finger. Now about the speed - I honestly can't say its any faster than my other cheaper OFF blades (Stiga, Donic), BUT just like my other carbon blades the drive shots are very direct, as straight as an arrow, but my observation that this is attributable to the carbon technology rather than a speed effect. I gave it 4 stars because it cost a lot and does not deliver any noticeable additional speed compared to blades costing $50, in which case it would definitely deserve full 5 stars. My advice is to prioritize carbon for your blade at a lower price and if possible feel the grip before you purchase because we are all slightly different and this is crucial to your long term satisfaction, if you know a model fits your hand well, stick with it! when looking for speed - just choose a fast rubber like Tenergy and you will be satisfied regardless of the price of your blade, and yes, I have verified this for myself.
the blade is very ergonomic, light weight, sits sweetly in the hand, the speed will not blow you over unless you put a high tension rubber on it, big mistake, otherwise I'm not terribly impressed with this blade, i don't think it should cost so much and I would not buy at this price again because after using the same various rubbers (different types, brands and technology) on much cheaper and slower rated CARBON Stiga and Donic blades, i think the rubber is the real key and not the blade. I do want to be clear that ANY carbon is WAY better, no doubt, shots are much more direct and the ball keeps a straight line until it drops, but in the end, my favorite blade is my Stiga procarbon because as cheap as it is, the sweet spot is HUGE! so yes, carbon magic is real folks
This blade is way to stiff and put a hard sponge with this thing will be speed bursting 11/10
while control -1/10
this monster is way to fast but very light but bcuz its an OFF+ it is a good blade for attacking must be paired with appropriate and good rubbers Tenergy __-FX should be good

It is amazing blade.it has every thing speed, control, spin ...I use it with bluefire jp01 on FH & coppa x1 turbo on BH.good combo, especially bf is awesome but i will check tenergy 05fx on both sides.
This is a great blade.
You really need to feel the ball contact the blade.
There are much faster blades out there, but none of them have the feeling that Butterfly blades have. This, being the fastest blade that Butterfly currently offers, is amazing. You do not get as much contact time with the ball, but if you close your racket for more spin shots, this blade does phenomenally well.
Only recommend for players who have been playing professionally for 10+ years.

This blade is fast and made for blocking. Omega tour V on forehand and Fastarc G1 on the BH makes a splendid combination. Shorter time to react but only need to adjust on the trajectory of blade angle and all is a piece of cake. Hard and stiffer than gergerly carbon.. A formidable and must try blade.
I have owned many blades over the last 5 years. Amongst them are: Primorac Carbon (x 5), Gergely 21, Kreanga Carbon, M.Maze (x 3), Petr Korbel (x 3), Schlager Carbon, Oh Sang Eun (x 3), KLHS, TBS, Viscaria (x 2), primorac off-, timo boll spark, Keyshot Light, sk7 alpha (x 2), Stiga Clipper Wood, Nittaku Acoustic, KCZ, Septear, Spintech 9th Wonder KC, and Carbo Gold. Out of all of the blades I have tried, I feel like the PC has the best mix of power, control, and feel.
It is very good at blocking and hitting close to the table because of its hard feel (unlike wood and alc blades) While at the same time it is not to head heavy because of its thick handle and thin 6.9mm head thickness (compared to SC 7.4 and G21 7.0). It also has better feel for the ball too than the SC and G21 in that the SC feels stiffer and softer giving you no feedback and the G21 is so compact and thick that vibration is completely cut off. The KC has much more vibration than the PC but it feels very unstable close to the table and very springy. It feels the fastest out of all the blades I have tried when I play touch shots. Its a blade that has to be tamed rather than something you have to adjust your topspin strokes to like most carbon blades.
Compared to all wood and alc blades, I feel like those have the advantage on soft touch shots close to the table. Looping close to the table is easier with wood and arylate blades but not that much easier with alc blades (compared to the PC). However wood blades take much more effort to hit fast and block with and top out win you hit the ball with a certain amount of force. ALC blades are ok close to the table but do not match up with wood blades when looping at the table or carbon blades when playing mid distance. They are okay at everything but dont really excel at anything.
I play a third and fifth ball attack game. I feel very comfortable playing a mid-distance looping game as well. When I play aggressive players I block, counter, mid distance loop, and mid-distance curve loop a lot. When I play defensive players I play an aggressive push game close to the table an set up my opportunities to put the ball away or I will hit really fast serves to their weak wing and blast a winner with my backhand or forehand.
I you play a consistent loop game close to the table then I recommend the primorac off- for feel and consistency. If you play a topspin loop game close to the table and at mid-distance I recommend the M.Maze. If your game is based on picking your shots to powerloop close to the table (you cannot play a loop everything game at the table like an all-wood blade and sometimes an alc one) or playing a counter game close to the table and a consistent looping game at mid-distance than I recommend the PC. It is a great value, a bestseller, and has great feel depending on what rubbers you use on it. I use Tenergy 05 on the forehand and Bryce Speed on the backhand.

Bty Primorac Carbon is a very solid, stable offesnive type blade. It has a pretty good combination of speed and control, with sufficient of each, but not extraordinary. It is good for a intermediate level player who is beginning to solidfy their control, but does not want to lose control or have slow shots either. It is also of pretty average hardness and weight, so it will not strain your wrist and hand, but it will not feel like a feather weight either. I used it with some sriver, and it was really good in terms of speed, control, and spin! If your about 1400 rating, i think this is a good blade for you!
Used this blade for a couple of years after switching from Gergely. The blade offers a softer feel compared to the Gergely, and probably against other Tamca's from BTY. The blade is powerful! and it's for those who want play mid and away from the table.
I used Sriver's on both sides when I played with this setup and control wasn't compromised at all.
The handle was way better than when I was using the Gergely but I found the neck area rather wider than usual, but it's not really a big concern.
Overall, it's already a classic blade from BTY and will surely become a collector's item.

I love this blade so much. Although I played 35 yrs ago on bad equipment - I never had good technique because nobody knew anybody that really knew table tennis. I took it back up last year, and quickly youtubed and practiced my game up. LOL.
So I thought this blade would be uncontrollable. I put Hurricane 8 FH, and RakzaX BH, and the feel of this blade is amazing to me. My Innerforce ALC feels lighter and tinny if you will. I put Evolution MX-S on BH and same thing, amazing FEEL. The H8 absolutely slows this thing down and gives great feel.
So I have a very developed kinetic chain from 25 yrs of competitive tennis. So I can rip a ball very hard. I don’t understand people that cannot control this blade. Surely they are hitting too hard or using tensors and hitting too hard. I can hit soft and I can blast. When rallying, just tone it down I guess. I am just amazed at the nice ‘not stiffish’ or ‘boardy’ feel of this blade. I use med-hard to hard sponges on everything because I can really put pace on a ball.
I am going to say this blade with hard sponges and tacky rubbers tame the beast. When you want to crank very hard finishing shot with full body power and whip on FH, the ball does not spring out of control like with tensors.

The blade and rubbers I odered may be contributing to not so speedy bounce. I noticed also that when the ball struck close to the top part of the racket, it was as if it struck a dead spot; slow and no bounce.
Cepat dan sensasi hinoki yang lembut dan ringan...
Cocok tipe main cepat dan block serang...
Kalau saya harus di padukan dengan spon lembut dan medium...
Kayu yang sangat recommended ???

Amazing,, buy n try it . Blade full power but not losing control. I like it. Use fastarc G1 Fh n yasaka spinate BH. GOOD COMBI
My first professional blade which I had for more then 8 years. A good blade for aggressive game. Was not so easy to control the ball before 40+ balls. But now it's much easier to play with it. Good block and flat hit with it. NOw it's easier to spin the ball. With new balls it has more control. I play it with it from time to time. My usual blade is TB Alc.
Great blade and performance for around $100. Will provide as much speed as the newer ZLC blades at the cost of the softer feel that the newer ZLC technology will offer. I rated this blade a perfect 10 because over my 15 years of extreme table tennis this blade has always been and stayed in my bag. An absolute rocket in my opinion and will require very quality strokes to keep the ball on the table. I would say this blade isn't very forgiving with weak strokes being stiff so you will need to execute your shots correctly and with great quality both on and off the table. I really think this maybe one of the fastest blades butterfly offers and again such a bargain at $100. If you are confident with your strokes and have the ability to grab and brush the ball at will this racket is a must.
I use Neo Hurricane 3 39 degree provincial orange 2.15mm boosted on my FH and Dignics 05 max on the BH.

9.5/10 for OFF style. FH/BH: Yasaka Rakza 7, 2mm, 46g (0.225g/cm^2), 47.5 degrees (ESN), 37.5 degrees (Shore A). Blade: Butterfly Primorac Carbon, 88g, 157mm x 150mm x 6.9mm (Width x Height x Thickness). Plies: 5 (3 Wood + 2 Composite): Hinoki - Tamca - Kiri - Tamca - Hinoki.
First blade that I have used , one thing about this blade is fast and yet too fast for flicks and I have been using I for 2 years , flick shots often miss in my backhand and drive shot also inaccurate sometimes you need to do something about the angle . I recommend slow to medium speed rubbers and do not even think about placing high tension rubber or you just regret it later . Block is fine however placement shot is poor .
Very very fast. Sometimes I think I don't need too fast like this to beat my enemy. FH T05, BH T80. Top spin perfect, block fast, smash is unbeatable cause the enemy would not see the ball coming. Sometimes back spin not good. Need practice hard to control. Not recomend for beginner.
This is my favorite carbon blade. Great feeling for mid-distance topspin and close to the table blocj and smash game. Moved onto something else for better close to the table topspin potential though. For the price and quality, it is a great buy.
This is a perfect blade for me , nice speed good control .
It is very fast and can produce heavy side-spins and top spins
But this is not good for newbies

This is a good compact, value for money blade with good speed, power and control all in one. Some people find it hard to control, but given a few weeks of practice and patience, I'm sure even the average Joe will find this a cool blade. Would recommend it for intermediate and expert level of play. I used it with Sriver on both FH & BH.

Primorac Carbon has been a best seller for decades, however it´s a blade not for beginners or amateurs. It´s really hard to tame, just a nighmare to control it!!. Even training regulary it´s way difficult to control because it has a minimal dwell time, it´s really bouncy, and feels as hard as a brick.
Not recommended to use it with hard rubbers on shakehands, the only option to combine with should be soft rubbers. A blade just only suitable for pros, or close to table penholders short pimples style, but not for most of human beigns.

European looping blade that packs a hard punch for those who like to block and drive the ball yet still a capable looping blade. This blade is more for medium to long distance players but with the right touch can be used close table as well.
This blade is too fast for me and hard to keep the ball on the table. Looping is harder because of the lesser dwell time but wow is it fast. Its great for hitting and smashing. You can loop with it but its harder since the motion must be quicker due to low dwell time.
great speed, powerful impact on the ball, produce a serious amount of topspin.
Very nice blade to have. I own a lot of blades and this one is my favorite. It works pretty well with any rubbers out there.
This is one sweet racket. Good speed and surpisingly sublime control. I put yasaka mark v on forehand and evolution max-p for backhand. The mark v slows down the power of this blade a little bit, especially with pushes, but on loops ,smashes and blocks, even with the control oriented mark V, Im able to generate enough speed or spin when I need to with excellent control . Backhand with the evolution mx-p is fast and control isnt an issue. Blocking is absolutely terrific with this backhand side (comes off real quick with control) and backhand topspin in a rally is a delight with this blade.
Not suitable for competitive modern game, but a fun blade to play or practice with. Tenergery 05 is by far the best rubber to pair it with if you got the skills. Otherwise, softer rubbers would be better.
Edit: Timo Boll uses this blade to win the European Championship and Jonathan Groth is a user as well, which means it might be the new trend to combat the 40+era.

Ratings for 88g. One of the fastest blades out there. The speed is unbelievable with something like mx-p, hard to see the ball. Very stiff, but some softness from outer hinoki ply.
A dependable blade. Can mix with different rubbers. Works well with soft to medium rubbers. Very good quality, worth a investment.
set up for this blade
fh TO5 and bh Flextra
explosive blade good for topspin and looping. Not so forgiving for error strokes because of its stiffness, dwell time and short game suffers.
smashing is great for this blade. Push block must be accurate. Offensive + blade.
this is for an advance offensive player.

the primorac carbon is very similar to the schlager carbon. its not that fast but still off+. Its one of the best overall power-tabletennisblades!
Many Pro`s play it or played it! (Primorac, Daniela Dodean, Kreanga...)

This blade is not that good for very spinny loops.... the control is a bit low but if you get used to it you'll be fine... blocks are very solid so are forehand and backhand drives... and very fast! but again the lack of control affects it very badly....Can just last only 7 and below hits before it goes way of the table. My training partner says my attacks was better by using my Ma Lin switching back it......(my Ma Lin carbon).
i have been playing table tennis for a long time with primorac because of its all-round characteristic. Then proceeded to primorac carbon for that extra speed. The speed improvement is very noticeable however the control factor is very poor. this blade required a big change in my playing style as most of my loops will go out if not controlled well. i would say this is way too fast for most intermediate level players.
its a very fast blade but still with a rubber like sriver el it can be deffensive. overall it is an amazing overall blade and also light.
I found this blade like the perfect one for me. It has very good speed, nice control, and an unique sound. Its weight is preety good. Is the perfect blade for those who want to hit heavy top spins and to play an active gane whenever possible.
The Primocar Carbon is also a godd blade to block with. It feels very consistent and stable when you block. And I'm sure it is not a blade for beginers.
It is the ideal blade to combine with the new generation of high tension rubbers, because with them hitting top spins is easier than if you don't.

Easily one of the best blades for not only best budget, but also from beginner to pro. This place is nice and fast like all the carbon blades. Best of all paired with the right rubber you can take the cake. If my breaks, I will buy it again no questions ask.
This is my main blade, I use Nittaku Fastarc G-1 for FH and Donic Baracuda Bigslam for BH. The consistency between speed and control is very good, not recommended for beginners. Overall is good blade
more controllable than sardius. Rakza 7 forehand and donic bluestorm backhand. Can do loops and is fast.
Powerful blade, not for spin only for power. Put slower rubbers to tame the beast. May be not the best but for sure it is a real pleasure to play with this blade.
Great blade for offensive game, but requires the appropriate training as with all the fast blades! Control is higher in my opinion than 7.3 which is the average here. Shots are super powerful from any distance, either top spins or smashes and it's really enjoyable from big distance! You can make super fast strokes from 3+ meters away from the table and feel like a pro :) So many players used this blade all these years for a reason!
I have tried many carbon blades and find this one is one of the best. It has good feel but requires above average skill. It is also suitable for glue-banned era. I have all the handle type but the best is ST. But if Butterfly can make it lighter like the Schlager Light then it would be a perfect blade.
I still don't understand why this blade is so popular! It is not very fast and not controllable at all! It only seems fast because of the lack of control it has, but I like the Ishlion or Boll TriCarbon better!
Its a very fast blade, too fast for me, I kept blasting them off the side of the table but it was still controlable and loopable. The dwell time was short but enough for spinning.
A little control, but a beast who is hard to tame. I don't recommend this blade. Too fast and constant overmiss
