Best combination of speed, spin and control. For me it is the best rubber for Backhand.
To be honest, the best rubber you can buy.
Extremely fast, very spiny, hard and yet very light (compared to the characteristics).
I am a Penholder and I use this rubber on the Backhand side.
Doing loops and bananas with this feels amazing, all top penholders use this rubber on the backhand, some even on the forehand.
9/10 for me.

Very fast, very spinny, but not very durable. :-( Similar to T05, it showed signs of wear at the sweet spot where I hit the ball after 3 months (used about an hour each day). I clean the rubber and put the adhesive protective film every time I finished playing. For this price, I expect it to last longer.
I have used the rubber just over a year and I can tell you that its a brilliant rubber however for you to be excellent with it you must have very good technique and control. If you play at a high level with good control and technique then its one of the best out there. For me Ive learnt that I need rubbers that are more forgiving as you need to be consistent in order to land good shots. Id advise you ask a coach and not just buy rubbers as Ive been doing as one it will save you a lot of money and secondly you will get a rubbers that will help you play more consistently. Dont just buy rubbers because you see top quality players use them.
In the moment im using tb alc n my play style is attacking which i do love 3rd ball attack, t05 on my fh feels so easy to execute an attack even in hard situation, i can feel the ball sink into my blade n confidently excute the attack, now i change into D05, it feel so dead, my blade release the ball so fast n really unforgiving..i really need to wait for the best change to attack, the ball quality was really good even better than t05, spinnier, faster n the ball will drop on the base line. I will recommend this D05 for those who who have a good technique n good footwork.. D05 suits me better on bh, fh i prefers n love T05 so much
Best backhand rubber (activity playing),medium high (high)throw angle, easy create spin,activ blocks is ok, medium soft (soft) filing,good control, very spinny rubber (banana,chop, service),this my first impression! Expensive, but good quality,easy and fun to play!
In my humble opinion Dignics 05 is the best rubber from BTY and one of the best available in the market. It all began when I borrowed a blade with D05 from a friend to hit for 5 minutes. I immediately fell in love with that rubber. So much control, speed and spin in the right balance, and also a lightweight rubber. And the rubber was old, with around one year of use, which led me to wonder how a brand new one could behave. So I decided to get one, despite the fact it is crazy expensive. And I say it was my best purchase ever! D05 is better than any other rubber I have already tried. The control while being offensive is astonishing. Speed comes easily, as well as spin. With a lazy, half-stroke the ball goes with quality and precision. When putting a great effort it becomes a monster offensive weapon. I am still yet to try the Dignics 80, which is listed even faster then D05. But for now D05 is my favorite rubber, and one of its great aspects is durability. Mine has 3 months and topsheet is still shining. Just cleaning with a humid cotton ball is enough to make it new again. No other rubber I have owned kept the topsheet like D05 for so long. And the sponge also did not fade yet. I believe it will be useful for more than one year, maybe one and a half year. As I said, the best rubber I bought, the durability makes it worth the price. I am pairing it with Goldarc 8 50 degrees in FH, on a Yinhe Pro 01 blade.

I really enjoy the spin, control, and speed of this rubber, especially the speed. I am able to send backspin back at an angle I could never before and hit topspin attacks with tons of power and ease. Combined with a good blade, I feel like my attacks have become quite intimidating.
This is possibly the best rubber I’ve ever used. I put this rubber on the backhand of my Lin Gaoyuan ALC and instantly fell in love with it. I am very used to Tenergy 05 on the backhand of my Timo Boll ALC and initially this felt very similar and quite easy to adjust to. However after a few weeks of playing this rubber there are some noticeable differences that really make this rubber stand out. Firstly, it’s the grip and dwell time. Dignics 05 really grabs the ball superbly well from literally any position. This makes opening up extremely easy. With Tenergy 05 you really need to be precise and have a lot of upward motion. With Dignics 05 it’s much easier to do. Another difference is the speed. Comparing the two rubbers directly, Dignics 05 is slightly slower than Tenergy 05 but it produces more spin and has much more control. The added dwell and control really gives you the confidence to rip into the ball and attack with power. Flicks are incredible with this rubber and touch shots are also an improvement to Tenergy. Counter topspins are where this rubber really shines. With very little effort, you can counterspin with quality and instantly take control of the rally. This rubber is also fantastic at blocking similarly to Tenergy 05. Dignics 05 pairs extremely well with outer Carbon blades because it gives you the dwell and safety you need for your backhand stroke while not compromising on speed. The price is the only downside to this rubber. If you don’t want to spend this sort of money on a sheet of rubber, I highly suggest Nittaku Fastarc G-1, or DHS Hurricane 3 37 (Boosted) as a cheaper alternative. However, I do think that Dignics 05 sits above these rubbers by a solid margin and fits my style almost perfectly. I have seen my game improve noticeable since I started using this rubber and for the enjoyment I get out of playing it makes it worth the price.
I have used Tenergy 64 and Tenergy 05 before. I settled for Dignics 05 after many years of trying different rubbers. I currently use it on Butterfly Amultart and could not have been happier. Serve receive provides amazing control and leaves lots of room for errors against very spiny and low serves. It is much more suitable for active gave both at forehand and backhand. I really like its ability to generate lots of spin with the right technique and yet offer lots of control. It is a little pricey but lasts longer than Tenergy 05 and 64.
Very good on my backhand and Harimoto ALC blade. Serves is good, spin is little bit lesser than 09c but still you can load a lot of spin with proper technique. Short game is no problem and easy to adjust. Speed is higher than 09c but for backhand is even better. For forehand 09c is just perfect, if you have the ability to use it ofc
Looping is great but speed still lacks its 9.1 spin great 9.7 approx overall nice rubber boosting is essential to achieve speed I think ?
I use it on my backhand. It works very well in flicks and countertop spins. Pushes are ok. It takes me some time to get used to the high throw angle in order to keep pushes short. Active blocks are easier than passive blocks. I have better results putting it on inner force type of blades with limba top, giving me more dwell to maximize the rubber's spin potential.
Fabulous for opening. Very suitable for backhand. Play topspin with wrist you will feel the power of this rubber. Slower than tenergy 05 but better control. Down side A bit spin sensitive and too expensive.
Better control than Tenergy 05. more margin for errors. Spin is around same but for me its easier to to do open ups and counter attacks because the ball bites more into the rubber, probably because of the softer top sheet. Serve receive is a bit difficult but manageable once you get the angle correct and adapt a little. Worth the money? Id say yes. Because it definitely lasts longer and I havent found another rubber with even almost the same features.

Tried it on Yasaka Ma Lin Soft Carbon. This rubber is a looping machine. First i tried it on my bachand, it felt dead. Then I switched to forehand, drives and looping felt good, looping is definitely above average, the trajectory and spinrate is crazy. But you really need to hit the perfect angle, otherwise u cant even find the table. This is definitely the most unforgiving rubber i ever played with. Shortgame is impossible, u need a lot of effort to even push long. Blocks are inconsistent as well. I would only recommend D05 to Timo Boll like players, with perfect technique. ... Later i used it as my backhand rubber, for half a year , and i was surprisingly pleased w it. Reading my previous review now, i still think it can be very unforgiving, but the spin aspect of it is only matched by D09C. Short game is not easy. Speed is unarguably the slowest of the Dignics', but u can either make use of this or go for the other ones. Now i think its a great rubber for backhand loopers, definitely made my game better.
With this rubber, I can control the ball better and the ball has a lot of spin. Excellent.
definitely an improvement over tenergy05 in term of speed and spin and yet some how Butterfly still able add more control to this rubber. Highly recommend

This rubber needs to be boosted. Without boost it feels dead.
Pros:
- Extremely spinny, the underspin opening is >>> t05. I would say it's at h3 level. My shots are low and spinny on opening which cause a lot of difficulties to my opponent. The ease of use is also better than h3.
- After boosting the feed back on looping feels great. There's this k-cha-poop sound and the ball will fly like rocket with control, curve, and speed. For a top spin rubber, it feels like a brand new t05 (will get to this later)
- The durability and longevity is INSANE. For t05 after the first week or 2, the top sheet will lose a little of grip and the performance will drop a little. That's why all pros change their t05 after 2 weeks. D05 however, plays like new and i'm 4 months in. I clock in 10hrs / week multi balling hard core practice. My falco tempo long also permanently boosted my dignics as well, the boosting effect did not fade. So I guess as long as the sponge is soften by boosting, D05 is good. Unlike h3 where you got good durability, you need to boost it every 2 weeks. D05 have best of both world, insane durability and a 1 time boost done deal kind of rubber.

- The short game of this rubber is horrid. Spring sponge X activation take too little effort, as many of the reviewers mentioned. I"m at 2150 level (i improve a lot since i got that rating Nov 2019 btw), pushing short with d05 is a nono. You either flick/bannana or push long. You push short you get punish by players that knows how to flick. Period.
- The serves are spinny. However it's difficult to keep the serve low like h3/t05.
- smashing is terrible. For some reason d05 grips the ball even during smashing so the trajectory is unpredictable.

Amazing rubber for BH, definitely the best one I have ever used. The rubber basically plays itself. Very easy to control, amazing for flicking, looping, killing.

Slower than T05 and less aggressive but more stable and opens better against service and backspin, plays very safe and comfortable, but not a killer like T05 or Dhs GoldArc 8. Nice to try a while but i go back to my old setup because it's more exciting. If you can hit hard like professional player with good condition then it's a rubber than can do anything for you.
I don't know if I'm the only one to have a problem with Dignics 05 ?? I bought a sheet of black Dignics 05 when it first came out in the UK ( although the price is just ludicrous ) ... I fitted it to my spare blade to try ( Stiga arctic wood ) and gave it a try .... It took a bit of getting used to after playing with tacky Chinese rubbers all my days , but it was ok .... I decided to transfer it to my number 1 blade ( Hurricane Long 5 ) ..... When I removed it from the Stiga I noticed a residue of the Butterfly glue that I used on the sponge which I then tried to remove ........ I rubbed lightly with an old TT ball as I've done a thousand times ...... Then started rubbing with a finger ..... Unfortunately the sponge is extremely brittle and is now full of holes .... Very very poor quality indeed !! It has never happened on any Chinese rubber I've ever had in 40 years of playing TT ...... Must say I'm extremely disappointed indeed and 90 out of pocket ....with no comeback ..

I bought this rubber from megaspin and after 4 months I found pimple between the rubber sheet and sponge, I tried to get off the rubber from the blade and glue it again to make its good but doesn’t fixed because it’s manufacturing defect..

Compared to T05 1.9 on same blade the throw angle is lower for topspin,the speed is less,the spin is similar for topspin but higher when serving.
Pushing needs a different blade angle,if the blade is too horizontal the ball is too high with Dignics and not easy to predict the flight path, I like T05 better for this and will need time to perfect.
The topspin arc is lower and flatter with Dignics and I wish the rubber was softer.
I decided to boost with 2 layers of Falco long and the ball is breaking out from the table better than T05 now and finishing the point is easier.
There isn't a big reaction to the booster and the rubber didn't stretch much,I have added a 3rd layer to try soon...

Great rubber but the price is just insane, it is not worth it unless you are sponsored by butterfly!
This rubber has been the missing link. I lost my technique after the introduction of the plastic ball. My bh could not pick the ball up when short and close to the net. No matter what I did. It sure can now, with minimal effort. I recorded my best ever win with it recently. There’s no doubt that it will catch my opponents out in future. My blocking is now 2 or 3 hits more effective. Some of my returns have been mind blowing. So much so that it feels like a cheat rubber. The thing is amazing, especially for my bh. Thanks Butterfly!
Dignics 05 works like magic. The high tension releases the ball quickly but doesn't make it leave too quickly giving yourself the opportunity to add a very good deal of spin into your shot. The rubber grips very well and it's speed is definitely impressive. Because of the high tension tackiness is evident but very concealed giving it slightly more control. The sponge is pretty hard which gives it great speed but could be very weird if you are transferring from lighter rubbers like I did. Counterlooping with this rubber is super easy but looping is slightly tougher in my opinion. Its very consistent and highly recommend this for defensive attackers. Pushing and chops also work with the rubber but I recommend using tenergy 05 hard for that instead. Blocking with the racquet can be tough but with good angles you can return topspin at dangerous speeds. Overall great rubber and highly recommend using it with other racquets from butterfly. Personally I use the timo boll alc but any racquet with carbon infused wood is good too.
I tried out this new rubber for a month ahead of the new season, with a view to possible switch. I tried it on both F/H and B/H. I'll not be switching because I believe this rubber is inferior to T80, my current rubber of choice. My blade is the Carbonado 145 with T80s (2.1) both sides. Topspin player both wings - currently playing veterans (at international level). Please note that one's choice of equipment is very personal and unique. What I liked about D05 on first hit is its low arc (like T80 compared with T05) and it has good spin capabilities. Also good for touch play around the net. It is good for backhand spins too but remember that B/H topspin is a relatively easy shot if you're positioned correctly behind the ball, and you move well, which is important. But that's about it with D05. It's much less responsive than T80, especially away from the table, and is generally an unforgiving rubber: in competition play, there is a real risk that you could get pushed around with this rubber. It is not a 'friendly' rubber, like T80, which is responsive and delivers when needed. I would be surprised if Butterfly extend the Dignics line to D80 etc. The overall soft/FX feel to Dignics is a weakness, especially when played on a high quality carbon blade.
New crazy rubber from Butterfly,The Dignics 05, released on 1st April,I bought it on the sixth of July, I am using 2.1mm red on my backhand, at first backhand topspin,it really grips the ball and creates a low to medium trajectory, the ball comes at supreme speed and marvelous spin
Indeed different - and slightly better - than Tenergies... It's ability to change gears due to the new top sheet is ridiculous. NOT for begginers: these rubbers are unforgiving; if the timing isn't right, the ball just flies off the table.
The main problem I have with it is its short trajectory which makes it almost impossible to play far from the table. You will be blocked off.

Touching short is oddly more difficult with this rubber. It is difficult to keep the ball low. I don't have this problem with T05. Blocking is very easy as the ball stays on the bat for a long time. I have a Viscaria with Tenergy 05 on both sides ( 2.1 for forehand and 1.9 for backhand ). Got a Dignics and after just a few hits, i knew it was for my backhand. Higher control than T05, a bit heavier in my view, higher ark, higher dwell time and from what i can tell, a bit more speed. On my backhand, it feels better than T05, however i will admit it doesn't justify the price. Consider this rubber as a pilgrimage - you have to try it once in your lifetime, even if it's not new

This is a boss rubber. I have this on a zlc Apolinia and it feels like a speed glued rubber. Took me about two sessions out to adjust to it but now Im looping from my backhand like kreanga lol. I recommend this for players who know there strokes. This rubber will feel slow unless you hit the ball well but the spin potential is very rewarding. I two wing loop attack and play a very aggressive on and off the table top spin style. I dont think Ill ever use anything else ever again! Im also using this on both forehand and backhand with 2.1mm sponge on both sides. I consider myself an advanced player ;)
I played with Dignics and Tenergy 05 Hard on a Viscaria. Dignics felt harder than 05 hard. The spin Dignics can generate is phenomenal. I haven't seen that in any other rubber, not even the tacky chinese ones. But that's only when you grip/brush the ball hard with perfect technique and timing. The smallest mistakes are penalised with the ball flying off. Even the short game needs adjusting as the ball pops vertically up. The speed is much lower than the rating given here. The speed will come from the power of your arm/waist, the sponge is not doing much. My rating is 8.5. It feels like a more responsive, non-tacky, hard chinese rubber. It is very demanding physically. Footwork must be fast. Flat hitting is not an option. It felt uncomfortable on the Viscaria as the dwell time was really low. It suits softer, more flexible blades better. It doesn't have many gears. It was clearly designed for advanced players with above average technique, footwork and stamina who can utilise its phenomenal ability to generate spin. higher arc compared to the linear trajectory of the 05 Hard. Tenergy 05 Hard is more forgiving, with a slightly softer sponge which makes it easier to play with. I recommend starting with 05 Hard before moving to Dignics.
Blade : Cornilleau Hinotec OFF+ Carbon (Hinoki-carbon) 82g - D05 1.9mm black + D05 1.9mm red - Total 174g - D05 1.9mm is not very fast, not very spinny, does not have the best control. But the overall is well balanced. Can play any style. BH is fast and very spinny. On FH, spin/speed are not the very best, but flat smash is a dream and effortless, especially on heavy spin incoming ball ! Easy to play at 2-3 meter away. Good grip for chikita and short pushes. I think it is a good rubber for BH. The durability is better than T05. Throw angle is lower than T05. Not so heavy for a quite hard rubber.
Update: I just confirm that D05 1.9mm is excellent on Hinotec OFF+ carbon and also Amultart, both hinoki-carbon. However 1.9mm is too slow on TB ALC, Darker Esteem (even Hinoki also...), BTY inner force ZLC, Viscaria. For those latest blades, 2.1mm is far better. 2.1mm on Hinotec OFF+ carbon is not bad, but smash is tricky.
Update: speed 8.9 is totally under rated. The sponge thickness is important. For 2.1mm, the speed is closed to 9.2, I feel it faster than D80. I tried it on Hinoki-carbon Donic Ovtcharov Carbospeed (86g), it was really good in term of speed, spin (normal top spin, active counter, spin against choppers). I think D05 2.1 had better control on Viscaria (koto) and TB ALC (koto). Rating a rubber depends strongly on the blade and also the thickness of the rubber. So it is important to specify the blade (+ weight) when rating a rubber.

Better than Tenergy 05 in respect of spin generation (both easiness to generate and the amount generated).
I only had a couple of sessions with it at this moment and my first impressions are : It has higher arc then tenergy 05, It grips the ball a bit better so its easier to attack half long balls for example or lift underspin. The overall feeling is similar to boosted tenergy 05 ( I enjoyed it more then 05) and it feels a notch softer than tenergy 05 but very similar hardness overall. It provides a loud noise and it is abit lighter then tenergy 05 (67 uncut comparing to 70). Although it has alot of control I wouldnt recommend it for a backhand rubber unless you are a pro because it has high arc and long catapult effect. It is rumoured to have a very good durability so maybe the price comparing to tenergy 05 is barely acceptable but still very overpriced. I can say at the moment for my game and the feeling it provides its a nice upgrade and I am using a blade with low through so it paired nicely.
Very good rubber.hard than regular t05.speed spin and control all are ok.you can make everythings with this rubber.it is suitable for advanced player .if you are advanced player,you should try it now.
