This rubber is super unique. I couldn't play with this rubber as long as I wanted to because it kept injuring my shoulder. After the 2nd time it happened I gave up and went back to T05.
Technically, it's probably the best rubber I've ever used. The grip is easily on Dignics levels, the spin and arc is exceptional. Even the deep soft clicking sensation is incredible. So on paper this should be the one.

The issue I had with it is it's very non-linear. When you play soft, it's super dead. When you play fast, it goes wild. Instead of increasing proportionally direct to effort, it seems to increase exponentially. The mechanics are also very similar to a Chinese rubber, which explains their hybrid technology on the package. So don't expect to play a Tenergy or Dignics style stroke - you have to play like you would a boosted Hurricane, despite this being totally non-tacky.

This puts a lot of strain on the body. And if your mechanics are not quite right, you will get punished. I think this is due to the extra hard sponge, which really is hard (but gives a soft sensation, presumably due to factory tuning). The extreme sponge may explain the extreme dynamics.

So not the most user friendly. This may explain a lack of popularity. But individually, this rubber is great at almost all aspects of the game - spin, speed, grip are all incredible and I was tempted to give 10s all-round. I just couldn't get used to its unique non-linear nature and couldn't understand how much effort to put into each ball. Essentially, this rubber was too demanding and overly complex to use.

I think Hurricane 3 national is the main competitor to this rubber, and is probably more reliable, less fussy and more tameable for all levels, and can be fine tuned with booster better than the Hyper can. You may have thought Xiom's fastest rubber was meant to compete with the Bryce highspeed or other super fast rubbers but that's not its target market, so it's a very counter-intuitive offering.

I'm a hurricane lover, compare with hurricane,this rubber is much more faster but less spin. If you want to maintain spin on the ball, you have to have a good touch.

Comparing to R53 and Z1 Turbo, the rubber does better in control and rally. The power is good, but you better know how to release it. Overall, the performance is very good except for serving.

I was curious about this rubber and decided to give it a try. The first thing I noticed was the weight, 120 g the pack closed! It is by far the heaviest rubber I have ever tried. And also hard to control, it is definitely not an easy rubber to play with. I tried to adapt it to my FH, but when I see others FH rubbers I am used with (T05 Hard and H3 Neo) they give a much more friendly use. Problem with O7H is the need of attention in every shot otherwise the ball goes long, as stated before by reviewers here. It is good for looping but bad for harder shots. T05H, for example, excels in every shot and shows a lot more gears. The positive and best feature of O7H is spin. It generates a crazy amount of spin, for those who play a controlled looping game it might be good. Me? I prefer something that allows a more offensive game, mixing slow loops,fast loops and smashes. For now I stick with Tenergy 05 Hard, havent found a better FH rubber yet. ---------- UPDATE!! --------- I changed it to my backhand a month ago and... Holy Mother of inverted Rubbers!! It is just perfect! Wow, I almost cant believe the power I have in BH now. Easy to block and a monster weapon when counter-attack opponents loops. I have tested many rubbers in BH before and some were excellent, like Tenergy 64, V>15 Extra and Rakza 7. But they all are rubbers for control and placement, and starting topspin game. Like if they are excellent boxers who rely on technique, like Marvin Hagler or Roy Jones. But this O7 Hyper is more like Mike Tyson, one punch and its over. It is THAT powerful. Of course being glued in a ZLC blade helps a lot, it is a setup as easy to block as it is to unleash power. The feeling is I have a huge reserve of power to use whenever I want. Unfortunately, this rubber is hard to find, and a bit pricey.

THIS is forehand rubber... I bought this for my backhand to add more speed, but the straight throw on this rubber is super difficult to control. Your shots have to be perfect or they're in the net or off the table. For comparison, on my OFF++ Long 5x blade, I can use Tenergy05 on backhand with no problem. THIS rubbber is much faster lol, and much less forgiving. I use a chinese stroke usually on forehand. This rubber is fine if you do a chinese or euro stroke on forehand. It's ridiculously fast and spinny, and not that hard to control. But on backhand, it makes punches really strong, though they're difficult to do with it. Once you've got some distance from the table... it's still actually pretty difficult on backhand but not as much. I'm only 3 hours in. If you feel like relearning the game completely on backhand then go for it, otherwise it's for the forehand.

agree with swejoe review..first,i stick the rubber with Sword long 5 blade which is long 5 clone blade on fh,it feels so hard like there was no sponge like swejoe said,it was very spinny but when away from the table,it always caught the net,maybe bcause i lack power..then i changed the blade to viscaria..suprisingly,the rubber feels amazing and softer..i can feel the sponge engaged when driving and looping..its easier to control and no problem when playing away from the table but when playing full force close to the table,the blade angle must be closed or it will go long..overall,i changed my h3 to this bcause i got tired of boosting..when the 60degree sponge come out,i will use it on fh and use 55degree for bh

Hard, speedy rubber with lot of spin. As a intermediate player it is hard to control when hitting hard. Ive put it on FH, with DNA Pro(M) on backhand on a homemade blade(off-). As long as I focus on controlled strokes it gives a lot of spin and speed. When putting in some force I really need to close the racket angle or the ball will go long. Really long. Easier to use than I thought thou, short game, blocking and service is no harder then with H3N or Rakza7. A lot of gears and when I hit the table with full power(rarely) it has a low angle with tremendous amount of spin. The rubber will take some time to get used to. Compared to H3N it feels like a rubber without sponge glued to the blade.
