YEO is one of the best 5plys for a reason.
Its merits lie in its linearity and feeling provided by hard outer ply and soft core: superb short game, easy ball placement and great range of speeds. Stiffness allows for stable passive blocking. The demerits are:
-lack of catapult away from the table, as power it has plenty, but is too physically demanding for continuous attack
-hardness of outer ply forces you to be precise, else shot quality suffers/ball goes long
Overall excellent blade for developing. Too demanding for 40+, 7plys offer more catapult.
