For about 4 months I did alot of comparison shopping, looking at several different tables/brands. I ultimately picked the JOOLA Tour 2500 based upon posted reviews and value. I purchased the table September 2016 for home use.
The table shipped flat on a pallet and was packaged quite well for protection. The total weight was approximately 300 lbs. It took me about an hour to unpack and assemble the table.
The first half of the table was quite simple to attach the T-Legs/casters. The tricky part was to stand the table up on its wheels after attaching the casters. I did it by myself but I strongly recommend 2 people for standing 1/2 of the table upright since each half weighs approximately 125lbs or so. After attaching the T-Legs casters/wheels to the first half and standing the table upright, the other half of the table is still on the pallet and the table surface is facing upward. You will need the assistance of a second person to flip the second half of the table over to reach the legs, attach the casters, and stand the table upright. Again, I did that by myself but I would not recommend that to others for safety reasons, and for the protection of the table.
The net is very simple to attach and helps keep the two halves of the table at the same height. It is a very nice net assembly with an adjustable tension cord at the top. Also easy to adjust to ensure proper net height.
For the money this is an excellent table with excellent play. I have not found any 'dead' spots and found the bounce to be consistent across the entire surface of the table. No blue dots on the ball while using the table. Beautiful blue color and it has a very professional look.
The table is easy to unfold and fold back. It is easy to move and has two safety locks to keep the table from opening while moving.
I highly recommend this table for anyone wanting to spend just a little more money (compared to your cheap run-of-the-mill box store table)for a high quality table that will last for years.
