Harder and Professional Forehand Version

Forehand X FACTOR sticky rubber does not need the booster to make it softer. Amazing click feel to boost your confidence.

XIOM developed Jekyll and Hyde C57.5 with the help of Artificial intelligence. Jekyll and Hyde C57.5 has a thicker top sheet, shorter pimples, and a more compact pimple arrangement.

The top sheet is coated with optimized stickiness and minimized gap and optimized integration between the top sheet and sponge allow for a clearer, more intuitive feel when hitting the ball.

Inside the Epsilon sponge, XIOM's new sponge engineering technology, the bubbles are smaller and more uniformly distributed. Low pimple geometry increases the energy transfer from epsilon sponge, so even when hitting far away epsilon sponge can power more directly deliver to the ball.

Reviews of XIOM Jekyll and Hyde C57.5 (1)

Viscaria SALC 89g + C57.5 max black (56g !) + D05 2.1red (47g). Total is about 192g, which is super heavy and well balanced in speed/sping/control, with a soft top sheet and very hard black sponge. Xiom rubber is 56g (113g in its package). It is hard and slightly sticky. Short game is easy, closed to the net, with a tendency to be shorter than with other rubber. So it needs to push a bit more or the ball is going to the net. Idem for serving, it needs a bit more impact but the trajectory is low throw, closed to the net, the ball has a trajectory like butterfly D64. The speed and spin are of very high quality is you have the good technique. But I think that spin is less than K3 pro. Lazy gesture produces a slow ball. The rubber does have a "spring" effect like Tenergy05. Smash, chop, block, chop-block are easy. A slow spin landing shortly on the table is possible, leading to interesting variations in your game. Flick demands some effort ... The rubber is quite similar to Chinese DHS H3 but without the need of complicated booster (which will be banned someday ...). Because trajectory is quite low, topspin on underpin ball demands some adaptations otherwise the ball lands in the net (it is easier with D09C due to high throw angle). But in reality, this rubber is for advanced players using proper techniques to make high quality shots. Personally I think it can also work well for beginners as block is easy, push is easy, counter is automated, and speed depends on your technique. So there is a lot of space for improving your technique by using continuously this rubber rather than changing for another one every month. Indeed hardness of 57.5 sounds like a block of metal ... but in reality, it is not the case. It feels like tibhar K3 normal (53) or pro (55). Two demerits: the weight is too heavy and the price is too high. But considering no booster needed, maybe it could be a reasonable price but I cannot evaluate the durability yet.
