Its more of a grippy rubber than a tacky one . It didnt really feel like a hybrid rubber which is how it was advertised, the G1 feels softer to me on impact and has a higher throw angle . For me this rubber is a backhand rubber because the throw angle is pretty low .
Touches off receive of serve were pretty tricky Id say this rubber is fairly spin sensitivity but due to the fairly low throw it made it a bit easier to return serve than the G1. Id recommend for most amateur players using this on a medium hardness blade not a blade thats too hard , it loses feeling when its too hard and spits out the ball too quickly off a hard blade .
In terms of speed and power the rubber did have enough power to get the job done , I could impart a good amount of spin but only when you brush the ball correctly, its not that forgiving in this regard and in order to unlock this rubbers true spin potential you need the correct technique. Id say to summarise a good rubber thats a little overpriced in the uk youre looking at 50 for a sheet but I got mine on table tennis 11 in the sale for 32 which is way more reasonable. It does look like a rubber that would last a good amount of time though, I dont know though since Ive only used it once.
I gave it 8/10
