Sweden's Truls Möregårdh currently plays with the Stiga Cybershape Carbon CWT Truls Edition blade (flared handle), assembled with red and black Stiga DNA Platinum XH rubber (max sponge).

The Blade: A blade with the same superior characteristics as the Cybershape Carbon CWT, but this time, it’s been developed in cooperation with Truls Möregårdh. The result is an upgraded design and specific weights of 3, 6, and 9 grams that are named for Truls’s three favourite shots: his chop block, backhand push, and forehand slap. The weights are easily attached to the bottom of your paddle thanks to magnets inside the handle. This allows you to tailor your paddle and find the perfect characteristics for your own play.

The Stiga Cybershape Carbon CWT Truls Edition is a 5+2-ply blade based on CCF technology (Close Core Fiber), which means that the carbon-fiber layer is applied directly on top of the wood core. This gives you more control while you also benefit from the carbon-fiber speed. The lightweight, technologically advanced carbon fiber also gives the blade more speed without sacrificing balance.

Red and Black Rubber: Stiga DNA Platinum features a new generation of table tennis rubbers from Germany. The unique rubber composition provides an excellent grip, allowing the player to strike the ball from really challenging angles. The short pimples together with the thin top sheet means that DNA Platinum can accommodate a thicker sponge (up to 2.3 mm), which gives you additional speed and power in the game. Thanks to the PSC (Power Sponge Cell) technology, you get a longer ball trajectory with more power in your stroke and an aggressive arc in loop play. The sponge pores also enhance the contact between the rubber and the blade, which means that you get that sought-after, crisp sound in your stroke. The extra hard sponge has been developed for players seeking the highest possible speed. The rubber provides the power and speed required to complete duels in a very quick and efficient way.
