Der-Materialspezialist Wildfire is a very innovative and exceptional half-pimple rubber!
The Wildfire combines the dangerous pimple structure of a half-length pimple with the rubber compound of a classic anti-top rubber.
The result is not just a new rubber, but an unprecedented half-length pimpled rubber that meets the strict ITTF requirements in terms of surface friction.
The sponge version of the Wildfire has a medium basic speed, while the ball's flight curve is extremely flat and extremely steep.
The Wildfire intentionally keeps spin development low, making blocks and counterattacks unpredictable for the opponent. This can lead to shots with unpleasant rotation effects or even entirely spinless shots, giving you a tactical advantage on the table.
Surprisingly, the Wildfire also shows no weaknesses in offensive play. Pimpled spin, aggressive counterattacks, and brutal finishing shots are all easily playable.

The Wildfire replaced my Palio WP1013. I play it in 1.3 mm on a Firewall Plus blade. I use it for both forehand and backhand. It's controlled but also well-suited for counterattacks. It replaced my Palio WP1013 and is significantly less sensitive to spin. It has an extremely flat trajectory. Even defending against topspins with extreme backspin is easy to control. I had considerably more problems with the Palio in this regard.
