Sponge works alright, but they no longer make it like the photo indicates, this needs to be update. Sponge also starts to deteriorate quickly. Wouldn't recommend.

Don't waste your money on this sponge. It doesn't absorb water at all and cannot clean the rubber properly.
Pros: Helps clean paddle well.
Cons: Gets a little dirty even if you clean the sponge after every use.
Final words: I like it just because it gets the job done. And remember, yellow side is for cleaning the paddle, blue is for soaking up extra liquid.
