This review was a long time coming. While butterfly has a strong history of making some of the very best table tennis robbers in the world of table tennis and some very good blades as well, this butterfly product is truly disappointing and butterfly needs to decide whether they should just drop the product or reformulate it. The benefits of using this glue are greatly overstated so much so that it borders on lying. I have been playing table tennis for 54 years and I have been putting together my rackets as well as my friends and my students rackets without any problems. Using different types of glue. I took butterflys advice and applied this glue on blades and rubbers made by butterfly believing the statement that this glue is specifically made to enhance the performance of butterfly rubbers. Not only has that not been the case, but the glue does not come off cleanly there is residue left on the blade and I still have some left but I will most likely just throw it in the garbage. This is the first and only one star review I have ever written about anything from butterfly but it is well deserved.

Good glue, but not as good as the other ones I’ve tried over the years.
Deducting half a star per reason:
1. Not the easiest to spread thin and smooth, use more than you think otherwise it might start drying before finishing.
2. Doesn’t dry transparent, this is the first water based glue I’ve used that doesn’t dry transparent, makes it harder to tell whether the glue has fully dried or not.
On the plus side, the glue forms a pretty good sheet, pretty easy to take off when the time comes.
