FAQ: Does Megaspin sell Japan-made Butterfly blades?

Some Butterfly blades like Korbel and Grubba are produced in factories both in Europe and in Japan, so they exist in 2 variants. When a Japanese blade has a Europe-made version, we always carry the Japanese variant. Other blades like Butterfly Timo Boll Offensive are only made in China so we cannot carry a Japanese variant of these blades.

FAQ: Do Butterfly blades come pre-sealed?

All Butterfly blades come pre-sealed from the factory. There is no need to add blade sealing but you may if you require additional protection.

Reviews of Butterfly Amultart ZLC (58)

This is the best table-tennis blade ever. I own this, Viscaria, Timo Boll Spirit, and Ma Lin YEO. Amultart is easily the best of all these. Clearly! Pair this blade with Tenergy 05 2.1 on both sides = best racket setup ever! This blade is much faster than Viscaria/TBS/YEO, much spinnier than Viscaria/TBS/YEO, with amazing control. When paired with Tenergy05, it actually has better control than all those blades. The low throw angle of this Amultart blade perfectly complements the high throw angle of the Tenergy05 rubber. The hardness/stiffness of this blade perfectly complements the Tenergy05 softness. It is a match made in heaven. For such an insanely fast and spinny blade (might be the fastest blade ever), the control is stunning. It is such a forgiving blade - I can be completely out of position, with bad posture, not use the optimal stroke - and yet still land the ball on the table. Incredible for serving, looping, smashing, and blocking. Extremely consistent, powerful, and explosive. I nicknamed this Amultart the "One Hitter Quitter" - one solid shot and the point is over. Opponents have an extremely hard time playing against this blade - often times the ball whizzes by them as they helplessly watch.

A few years ago, I got into the mindset of playing the safe game and control the ball more, so I went from my Primorac Carbon to Clipper Wood which was fun for a long while. Then moved to Xiom Feel zx2, because of the Hinoki layer to see how it affects the dwell time, touch and control, that was good too. However I needed to put more effort into my shots. Recently I played with Amultart and cannot lie, it felt so much better than any of the above mentioned blades. It is fast, quite hard, but very forgiving. Blocking is very easy, smashing is very easy, dwell time is less than Clipper wood or Feel zx2, but not bad in any way. I felt even my out of position loops with bad posture would land easier than the other blades.

Very good at controlling and blocking. For a blade, this is very good.

I like the speed, power and control of this blade. Works well with Chinese rubber. Updated: Dec 2023 I am using Donic Bluestar A1 in FH and BH and it is perfect!
