FAQ: Does Megaspin sell Japan-made Butterfly blades?
Some Butterfly blades like Korbel and Grubba are produced in factories both in Europe and in Japan, so they exist in 2 variants. When a Japanese blade has a Europe-made version, we always carry the Japanese variant. Other blades like Butterfly Timo Boll Offensive are only made in China so we cannot carry a Japanese variant of these blades.
FAQ: Do Butterfly blades come pre-sealed?
All Butterfly blades come pre-sealed from the factory. There is no need to add blade sealing but you may if you require additional protection.
Professional racket assembly is offered on several racket combinations free of charge. Please add a blade and 2 rubber sheets to the shopping cart to activate the racket assembly option on your cart. For more details see Racket Assembly FAQ.
You may also select ready-made rackets and pre-selected combos from our rackets section.

Old big Grubba ALL + .Online dedicated to our Polish table tennis legend. There are several versions of this blade. The best known is the old black sign. Great for learning the game. Mistakes. In today's fast tennis unfortunately too slow.
It is best played with hard rubbers

I have been playing table tennis for about 2 years now but I am still a novice. I found that this blade was hard to adjust to at first since I came off of using crappy pre-made $40 Stiga paddles. The blade is very fast in my experience as someone who was used to low end equipment and I had trouble controlling the ball. I had a basic understanding of stroke mechanics and I practiced them a lot after purchasing this. I am glad to say that I can now handle this blade fairly well, it produces good speed and power for me. I've been using this blade for about four months now and my game has improved considerably and I hope for it to continue improving with practice over time. Overall this is a solid blade and I feel like it has lots of speed and power. (Although I'm not sure what someone who is used to higher end equipment would feel about it.)
I paired this blade with a DHS Hurricane 3 Neo on the FH and DHS TG Skyline 2 on the BH.

This is one of those funny blades. A diamond in the rough, if you will. I prefer it over my Timo Boll ZLF at 1/4 the price. I did some direct back to back comparisons with Grubba, TB ZLF and Viscaria (all with Tenergy 05) in the fields of touch(net play), hitting/counterhitting, service, looping, driving and smash. The Grubba led the way in all tests but counter hitting and driving. This is what makes it a funny little blade. In touch shots, I could easily get double, even triple bounce drops off of the opponents serve. Yet in counter hitting, the ball would rocket off the table somewhat uncontrollably, even faster than Viscaria. Looping, the Grubba had more spin, higher arc and more control than the other 2 blades and better feeling. I would use this blade 100% of the time if I could find a rubber to calm down the counter hitting and still yield good loop results. Otherwise, this blade fits my offensive loop oriented game perfectly.
I rated the blade at a speed of 8 due to the lack of control on counter hitting using Tenergy 05. Gave control an 8 also, which would've been 9.2 had there been no hitting issue.

It's not that slow as rated by now, it's all+ close to off-. Amazing control and feeling, very spinny. Recommended!
