This is quite an interesting rubber. The pips are 1.6 mm long and the same width, with an aspect ratio of exactly 1.0. Friction is low; the pips are not soft, but they are springy and elastic under tension, so the speed is quite high. The superpower of this rubber is that despite the low friction due to the pip geometry and the rubber's properties, it allows for excellent spin variation. This means you can turn backspin into pure sidespin and cancel out spin, just like with frictioned pips, while still having a lot of reversal. The spin reversal is slightly lower than that of some other pips, such as the Piranja Ftec and Hellfire X, most likely due to the pip geometry. Given all these characteristics, this rubber is best suited for an aggressive blocker's style: you use your pips primarily as an offensive weapon, and secondarily for defense. This rubber works well for blocking off-table shots (on faster blades, the control will likely be too weak for most amateurs), but due to its tension, it has a similar effect to tensor rubbersa micro-catapult on low spin. If you try to play such balls softly, the pips will bend halfway and release the ball uncontrollably. Instead, you need to push them aggressively. This rubber offers the best control on balls with medium-high spin. If your opponents spin the ball lightly and you don't play aggressively, then softer, tension-free pips will suit you better.

The best LP ever in my opinion.
It’s feral, it’s fast for Lp, but once you learn how to use it, it’s as deceptive as they come. The only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because in my opinion it’s not as great for counter attacking as some other LP that I tried.

Great rubber. Takes time to really learn how to control but overtime it will become a formidable weapon.
I bought this overrated rubber, hoping it would be better than Dragon's Talon. Unfortunately, the price is not justified, as Talon is more versatile and easier to play with. As for the spin reversal and deception, I haven't felt a significant difference between the 2 rubbers. D'Tecs might have a slightly better reversal, but it also breaks like paper. Removing it from the blade if glued with anything stronger than cheap paper glue would most likely destroy it.
For the price of a D'Tecs, you can get 3 Dragon's Talon. Whoever says D'Tecs is the best long pips rubber available should try Talon, which seemed to me springier and faster than D'Tecs. This makes it more dangerous, as it doesn't leave the opponent much time to react. Durability is also excellent for Talon. I've had one for about 10 years and it's still in great shape.
