I have bought 2 of the 2 speed carbon blade. I am using 563 Friendship pips out on the BH on one and Hurricane smoothon the FH (Carbon). On the other I have Dr Evil pips out on the BH and Joola Terminator on the FH. Cole is right about the speed, the carbon is quick and the BH wood is quite hard but if you like to punch/block on the BH then I think you will enjoy it because you can get excellent speed and dip with the pips. The BH sounds like you are glued up because you get the click sound. They are much cheaper then normal carbon blades so give it a try. Life is too short to wonder why?
