the focus I is soft. about on par with many other softer butterfly rubbers i've used. ie tackiness, tackifire special, etc. focus i is not one of those shiny tacky rubbers like you expect from a 729 series. however, it is very grippy and the ball sinks into the sponge nicely.

with that said, the super soft 729 fx is incredibly soft. the softest sponge i've ever used. i put that on my backhand and i like it.

both of these 729 rubbers i have are about the spinniest i've ever experienced. way spinnier than tackifier special in my opinion.

i've only been using these 729 rubbers for the past week or two, so i'm not super experienced with them, but i've tried the hundreds of stiga, donic and bfly rubbers that are out there and i will probalby stick with the 729 stuff. cheap and good stuff.
