I don't doubt that there are Friendship rubbers that could be a good alternative to the ones mentioned. I know Butterfly will not like me saying this but I think the Cream MRS if placed on a fast blade (for instance, carbon or 7-ply) feels a lot like Bryce with just a slightly harder feel on blocks. A friend of mine uses LKT Pro on a Gatien Extra 7 and it feels like any other glued Japan/Euro rubber. So trying out a bunch of Friendship rubbers is fine because they're less costly. But if a player really wants Bryce, then just spend the money instead of trying to get a cheaper alternative that may or may not feel like Bryce to them.
