Texalium is simply fiberglass with an microscopic aluminum coating on one side.

I have no idea how they use the titanium, i.e. thin sheet, strands, woven strands...

As far as pure mechanical properties, the fiberglass.texalium is WAY stiffer and stronger than titanium. I doubt that this will really matter for TT blades though.
