Glassfiber give some of the shock-absorption of carbon and a little of the speed, but doesn't change the feel as drastically as does carbon.

Donic makes some nice glassfiber blades. The 729 blue thunder is nice. I've always wanted to try the sunflex wang liqin glassfiber.
