| I recommend that you use Minwax Wipe-on Poly. Shake the can. Moisten rag and rub on a thin coat on both sides and the edge of the blade (you should barely be able to see it). Let it dry for a few hours before you put glue on. I have found that most blade will splinter if you don't use some kind of protective coating -- especially if you change rubbers very often. You should be able to get the Minwax at WalMart. |
