My 6040 came in the mail today - feels pretty nice though I haven't been able to play with it yet. I do believe that it is 5 ply, not the 7 ply listed. The handle is straight / conical. I'll be getting a 6030l sometime next week from Cole. I'll compare the two and let you all know.
