Pretty good, for one or other reason, it's not so easy to find beginner athletes using the japanese penhold grip... Well, I am a natural born penholder that tried to move to shakehand and got back to the japanese penhold style. Currently, I use a Yasaka Mark V AD MAX mounted on a Yasaka Taurus (TZ-15) blade. I would tate this setup an OFF-, given that this blade is not the fastest. It is a good combo, but maybe you would like to use a slower rubber sheet (less sponge, maybe). About the japanese penholder backhand: it is one of the most beautiful shots in TT, IMHO. But it is difficult to master. Of course, lots of practice will give you a pretty good BH, but remember to also work on your pushes, they are very important to the japanese penholder. Good luck!
