since I have gotten a new penhold paddle I've noticed a large improvement in my forehand game and I seem to be able to pull off smash after smash and loop after loop with relative ease. I am not a very good player so I still mess up a little but I know how to adjust. However I have noticed that my game has become far less dynamic and that my blocks and counters are virtually non-existent. I also have trouble with deep backspin balls. I try to cut the balls back with more backspin but it just runs into the net. can anyone give me some tips that might be able to improve my ability to block and counter fast topspin loops or very deep backspin balls delivered to me by players more skilled than I? remember I play pengrip, but i used to use a shakehand paddle with pengrip, but now I have a pengrip paddle. thanks a lot |
