If you want a way to get maximum glue effect, after gluing your rubbers, wrap them in plastic wrap for 20 minutes, then pull them out and glue them on your blade. All the liquid evaporates, but is trapped in the rubber. Tremendous click.

Also, if you need to glue a couple hours in advance, this is a way to extend the life of your glue job. You can even glue hours in advance and have a good effect for a few hours after unwrapping.
