not been glueing long but the best way I have found with donic speedmaster is put a thick layer on the rubber then a thin layer on the blade and by that time the rubber has normally domed and the first layer is not dry but tacky then another layer on the rubber and I roll it on the blade using a small paint roller but only roll it soft.....the harder I seem to roll it then I start getting bubbles.....after it is on then I repeat the other side and don't use a press but put 2 pieces of 1 inch plastic on each side and lay a small piece of granite on top......the granite is instead of books it weighs about 4-5lb.....after 15 minutes it's all set....never had a problem and it is very consistant
