Hi Fadil, Octopus does not have spin reversal on top spin unless you chop block, but good luck doing that close to the table when the ball is being power looped at 90 miles per hour. If you block with an open paddle/bat the ball will go sailing over the table, if you block with a closed paddle/bat the ball will be returned dead/knuckle ball. On pushes/slices against back spin the ball is returned dead/knuckle ball.

In actual fact Octopus is exactly the same as TSP PR1, it is even made in the same factory, the only difference is that Octopus is more than twice the price (I of course found this out after purchasing it). The reason why they did this is because Chen Weixing would only chop with TSP PR1 and Joola wanted to sponsor him. I heard this from a guy who went to Chen Weixing’s training camp here in the US.
