It has good friction, so you can attack topspin shots easily. However, of course you won't be able to lift underspin as easily. It is quite fast for chopping and isn't heavy at all. I made the switch from frictionless and selected octopus(joola, and butterfly feint(soft 1.5). Passive players should try octopus, and aggressive player like myself feint 1.5 is a dream. good luck
