I play short pips (not pimps!) on forehand. I actually think a lot of average players like myself would be better suited to short pips as many of us cant handle the spin from inverted rubbers. The best thing to do is to practice to get the feel for the pips. With the quick spinny short pips you can really get at your opponent - I play Dr N Tornado Ultra and would recommend this v highly. You can create gebuine high spin with hard work and the speed for smashing is great - topspin from opponent can be hit back really low and fast. Great for blocking. Also I thinkk very effective spin for serves. Good luck
