Ok though...this works with crumbling balsa. Try getting some superglue and working as much of it as you can into the outer edge of the blade. With thick balsa, I actually soak them until they have a hard gloss on the outside. Cause balsa blades over like 6mm of balsa will eventually crumble otherwise without question.

Maybe this will hold your plies together.
