I am convinced there are alot more reason why, but between the two of us, we will probably never know. First of, you are talking about a Professional player with tremendous ball control capabilities and among other things. I do know, myself, I prefer 1.5 cause I can smash, lob, chop as well as drive if I needed to and I couldn't possibly do it with anything else as effective. T o get your answer, you would have to ask a top defender or a high rated coach. Good luck.
