You can't let yourself be intimitated by the topspin. If you panic and try to softly touch the ball back with a light block the spin's gonna grab and the ball's gonna shoot stright up! Try punchblocking the ball a little when you block. If you can, try to close your blade over the ball and counter.

Worst thing you can do is get scared and touch block it.
