I think that you should avoid premade rackets. There may be decent ones out there, but I haven't seen one.

Cole, Zeropong, or DragonflyTT can fix you up with something very nice (really!) for between $35 and $55. I have been playing with a Hinoki Balsa blade with GeoSpin on both sides for over a month. I have a Nittaku KVT blade and an assortment of Nittaku, Juic, and other rubber sitting lonely in my bag.

I had a Persson Power Allround that was pretty good, but the handle and I didn't get along.

I also had a 6030L blade that I liked very much. A player at my club liked it enough to make me an offer I couldn't refuse though...
