I should add, that when I traveled to a tt club, I did
beat 7 players, out of 9,
mostly 1000-1500 rating,
with this one sided grip.
It allows good forehand and back handed hitting; lot of wrist, esp on backhand, consistent forehand, and quick (no indecision) blocking.
