I rank my self at about 1800, and have no problem chopping away against players who are 1800 and below, its those players who are 1900 and above that I have problems with. Ofcourse, its the super spinny loop and heavy drives that they produce that gives me alot of problem. I tend to flip racket and try to chop with my forehand sometimes and have no problem chopping all of those balls, but I can't always do it consistently. Unfortunately, here in the club that I play with, there is only one guy who has a rating of about 2000 and every time he comes around, you have about 50 people who wants to play him. So trying to get some practice out of him has almost been impossible. The club has a young coach and is a penhold player, I don't have too much confident on her giving me lessons cause she teaches strickly offense style. By the way, I am here in south korea and everyone speaks very little or no english. Every little help I can get from anyone out there will surely be appreciated. Thanks |
