Contrary to popular belief; you can glue just fine with any damm rubber cement you can get your hands on. Some are thicker, like Elmer's and some are thinner. The key is thinning it appropriately with rubber cement thinner (heptane). Since I add thinner to which ever brand I use, I am not particularly concerned about the thickness out of the can. One persons favorite is Ross, another's is Best Test, yet another prefers Elmer's. It is laughable when people will take one person's preference for rubber cement and preach it like it is the glue gospel, and you will go to ping pong hell if you use any other glue. Over the years I have used Shiva, Sanford, Best Test, Elmer's, and some others that I cant remember. They ALL worked just fine. Do I have my favorite? Sure. What do I use? I use what ever I can get my hands on in quantity for cheap.
