Blade weight is a pesonal preference whatever feels best to you. Typicaly heavier blades mean more time to react so a heavy fast blade might not be as fast as a light fast blade. It is said that loopers prefer heavier blades but i am a looper and my heaviest blade is 82 grams(nittaku kcz).Also you can feel the difference in blade weight even when it is slight.
