Hello, I think the Donic Dotec control blade should be just fine. Many new players always go for the fast carbon blades, but I always recommend starting out with a good control blade. You might even try Hurricane 3 on 1 side of your blade. It's a little slower than H2. Any good control rubber would be fine such as Donic Quattro. The rubber should last about 3 months if you play 2 - 3 x a week.
