The blade should be great for a developing player such as yourself. The Cream/MRS used to be great but the quality has been suspect as of late. As for the Focus I would suggest Focus III instead, in my experiences it is of better quality. As a last bit of advice I would tell you not to pay too much attention to the ratings systems of the various companies, ratings are mostly a mechanism to improve sales. If it is possible try to get an unbiased review from an experienced player. Best of luck.
