apply a layer to the rubber sheet sponge side and apply a layer to the blade and let it dry for a few minutes.Attach the rubber at the base near the handle and roll it on with some type of cylindrical object to prevent air bubbles then take a razor blade and cut around the blade.since this is your first time it is easier to cut the rubber using two cuts once just through the sponge then all the way through
